Uniform
Pupils are expected to wear the school uniform.
Uniform consisits of:
School blazer - black with a badge
Trousers/skirt - black
Shirt/blouse - white
Pullover/sweatshirt/cardigan - black
School tie - maroon
Black shoes
The senior blazer is black with a badge and braid. There is also a senior school tie (blue).
Physical Education Kit
Boys - Maroon football shorts, light blue shirt (for indoor work)
sweatshirt (for outdoor work),
training shoes (1 pair indoor & 1 pair outdoor),
swimming trunks, cap (can be bought in PE dept), towel,
goggles (if desired)
NOTE : swimming shorts are not allowed as they
interfere with tuition.
Girls - Maroon football shorts, light blue shirt (for indoor work)
sweatshirt (for outdoor work),
training shoes (1 pair indoor & 1 pair outdoor),
one piece swimming costume, cap (can be bought in PE dept), towel, goggles (if desired).
Clothing Grant
If parents are in receipt of Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Related Employment and Support Allowance, support under Part VI of the Immigration and Assylum Act 1999, Guaranteed Pension Credit Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Child Tax Credit or Working Tax Credit and an annual income of less than 15,910, the Authority will consider one application per year for a grant towards the cost of purchasing essential clothing to enable their children, up to the age of 16, to attend school.
The school clothing grant will be made through BACS transfer into a nominated bank account or paid by cheque.
Application forms may be obtained from the school or Main Reception, Dundee House.
Pupils over the age of 16 in full time education can apply for the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA). Details of this can be obtained from the guidance staff.
